Dr. Crowder Interns

A little about me…

I am an Illinois native spending my youth in Morton, Illinois. I attended Morton High School and received my Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois Wesleyan University. I found myself looking for a method of making a change in the world. I stumbled upon Chiropractic, or maybe Chiropractic found me. I visited three colleges of chiropractic and "The Fountain Head" appealed to me most. I enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Five academic years later, I found myself with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a knowledge and expertise to ‘change the world’.

While studying at Palmer College of Chiropractic, I learned of an ‘Old Timer’, Dr. E.L. Crowder. He provided an opportunity to witness first hand the inner workings of a Chiropractic office. The difference between his office and many other Chiropractic offices was his methodology. Dr. Crowder not only had 50 plus years experience, he was the last person to sit as the director of The B.J. Palmer Chiropractic Clinic. This clinic helped the worst of the worst cases until 1961, at which time it was closed. Not only did this clinic help the worst or the worst gain health, but also it achieved this feat through adjustment of only the first cervical (neck) vertebra or the second. They performed this adjustment approximately thirty years, although, it's development preceded the 1930's. This is why I have elected to adjust the atlas or axis vertebrae (first or second cervical vertebrae).

Palmer Specific Upper Cervical Chiropractic Technique is by far one of the most effective and efficient methods of caring for people like you and me. There are but a few practicing this style of Chiropractic, so once you find one of us, you will want to keep close tabs on us.
